STATUS NOTICES 5 October 2007: The long-anticipated upgrade of the Point Lookout station has been completed! The location now features a camera with four times the previous resolution that can also move to record images covering 180 degrees of the shoreline. Thanks to the Town of Hempstead Department of Conservation and Waterways for funding this upgrade and for their continuing logistical partnership.
