Internet mailing lists allow members to communicate via email that is
"reflected" from a central server to a subscriber list. Mailing lists
generally serve a smaller and more restricted clentele that Usenet Newsgroups,
and may be restricted in subscribership or moderated (messages have to pass by
a moderator before distribution).
