"Making science work at sea"

The Research Vessel Technical Enhancement Committee (RVTEC) is an organization of technical support personnel associated with the university oceanographic Research Vessel fleet of the United States of America. RVTEC is chartered by University-National Oceanographic Laboratory System (UNOLS), an organization of 57 academic institutions and National Laboratories involved in oceanographic research and joined for the purpose of coordinating research facilities and oceanographic ship schedules.

The RVTEC Home Port provides information germane to seagoing oceanographers. We hope our efforts will result in better planning and more successful execution of scientific cruises. Your input and comments about this web site are always welcome.
